Looking online for s new doorbell for an elderly hard of hearing relative, there is a bewildering choice. Any personal recommendations on non fancy wireless ones that are loud or volume controlled & can have several adapters for different rooms?

Many thanks.

There are also doorbells that can have a light flash on and off which work well for some people.

Can't make any specific recommendation as I have only heard about them from a guy that plays drums in a soundproofed room at home and kept missing people at his door.

The flashing light ones are generally a good bet. Even with the old door bell cranked up to eleven my mum couldn't always hear it.

That’s so incredibly helpful.

Thanks for those that had some sensible ideas, still looking.

Hillside desolate

The local council fitted one for my gran that had an amplifier thing she could sit in her living room, it was really loud. Maybe try your local authority?
