Finding a fiver in my bedroom while cleaning made me happy today. Oh and of course chatting to my lovely man but that always makes me happy, Thursday or not.

Today has been 'meh' so far so doing this exercise is probably really helpful to keep things in perspective....
A male goldfinch drinking from the pond at work, so pretty!
People being kind and letting me know they care in their own little ways.
The wisteria at work which smells like bubblegum.

To start my answer on a downer, it is the 10th anniversary of my best friend passing. The one thing that has made it bearable has been the outpouring of love from friends far and wide. Yes I know we should keep in touch more but that 7am Skype with my NZ ladies was just the tonic I needed. Lemonade was definitely made from todays lemons. |
