I did a test on the humanmatrics site, it was intresting, it is a set of 60 questions and I am a INFJ introvert 12%, judging 31% with intuitive and feeling making up the rest of the percentages, have you done a similar test too and what are your score? |

I’ve done Myers Briggs and I am on the cusp of Introvert and extrovert (ambivert), I am strongly intuitive in the way I take in information seeing patterns and connections and using the information creatively. I make my decision based on my feelings and beliefs far more often than logic and analysis and tend be open ended in in the flexible way (perceiving) rather than structured in the way (judging) make my decisions |

I tend to get quite different results on these things depending which test I use and also my mood when answering seems to have an effect. Today I scored ENFJ (9% extrovert 56% intuitive 6% feeling 6% judging). Last time I was INTJ, which is probably a more accurate reflection of my personality type based on the descriptions given.
Basically if I'm happy about something I become a little more extroverted than usual, the rest of the time I'm quite reserved. |

Apparently I'm ENFJ. Which pretty much sums up how a feel and would like to interact with people. I'd probably not win ENFJ of the year award though because sometimes I read people wrong or dont pick up on things (as much as I'd like to). |

You need to take the test, your self assessment seems in doubt to me.
You don't come across as a stroppy, old bag to me at all. |

ENTP from memory, but it was years ago that I did Myers Briggs test - HR wanted a word afterwards cos they had never seen anyone score so extremely!
On the colour wheel I am a balance of yellow green with some red and virtually no blue naturally, but dial my yellow right up at work apparently, highly unusual for a scientist! |

Heeeeeyy! Apparently we're not massively common.. Though not rare like some types.
I dunno if I'm T or A so also envy P like Nell does. They have names as well as letters for this stuff. We are "Campaigners" but apparently "Advocates" Are more rare... And other than our own personality types are the ones we tend to gel best with.
Maybe all the people on here seeking a match would do well to find out your LETTER matches? See if works |

Mine said about fashion and a lovely home etc. Couldn't be further from the truth as far as those 2 go! Other stuff seemed relatively accurate tho, but it can change I think dependant on mood and self perception, also it depends on how deep into each question you look as things can vary

Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel. While they are capable of caring deeply for others (usually a select few), and are willing to spend a great deal of time and effort on a relationship, the knowledge and self-confidence that make them so successful in other areas can suddenly abandon or mislead them in interpersonal situations.
Meh.... Somewhat like me I guess |

I'm quite skeptical about the validity of these personality tests. They purport that we all fit into one of 16 boxes and that we don't deviate from that throughout our lives. I've taken the MBTI several times over the last 10 years and in that time I have been INTJ ISFP and INFJ. Despite answering as honestly as a could each time, my mood, mental health and personal circumstances have cause me to answer differently. The only consistency is that I'm introverted and that I hover on the border between Feeling and Thinking. |

I’m not surprised you moved about a bit Nell when you are on the cusp on some of the scales situations and mood can tip the balance. I find it easier to read the descriptions and see which parts fit best for me. I’m on the cusp for E/I and J/P so there are relevant bits in all 4 of the boxes for me. The consistency is my idealist NF temperament |

There must be many people who hover on the cusp of these binary characteristics. You could create a whole load of new personality types that describes us! I really don't like the premise that these categories are fixed for life. |

Your Type Preferences
Introvert(9%) Sensing(3%) Feeling(6%) Judging(38%)
Because you appear to have marginal or no (3%) preference of Sensing over Intuition, characteristics of more than one personality type may apply to you:
ISFJ and INFJ.
Of course it is...Gemini twins |
