To fall asleep yes! Talking myself into a sleep is just a gift. Used to do a lot of meditation and now I can fall asleep any bloody where. It’s great until you find yourself asleep in front of your boss or directors |

Yep!
Started when I was first pregnant 27yrs ago.
I'd be telling bump what we were doing, where we were going.
The habit of talking out loud just went from there.
These days though, quite often Alexa will answer me back! |

Sounds like most of our team meetings...seems I am talking to myself & then I wake up 2-3 years later & someone else is having my idea only this time it is theirs & it is going to happen... |

Talking to oneself is fine, as the world and it's mother does.
But I say the first sign of madness is when you start to answer back.
I'm just saying |

I actually burst out laughing recently as I asked myself why I had went into the kitchen (out loud) then replied I don’t know!! Too funny - I think I could quite easily be certified insane |

I often talk to myself out loud and also to inanimate objects like the fridge. Last night, it was making an odd rumbling noise so I told it to 'chill' and the noise stopped.

I'm self empolyed and work alone. So have to talk to myself. You should here the office gossip. She had 2 blokes last Sat night. Then 5 for lunch yesterday. A real slut.
She's no shame and planning more encounters with more men. I'm not judgemental thou. |

I do when I'm in the car on my own, I imagine conversations with people usually about something I want to say to them or maybe just an imagined conversation about something that has happened in the past like I'm telling them the story, it helps me rationalise it. Bit weird but I've always done it. |
