I have had really bad anxiety problems since my mum member killed themselves last year. Stopped wanting to go out, stopped wanting to do anything. However fab, strangely enough, has really helped. I have come across some proper meanies and oddballs but also some of THE nicest and funniest people that I would never have had the chance to before. Yes there is bitching and crazy on here but there are some really beautiful souls as well who are just floating around looking for other beauties.
Can anyone tell I've had zapain and am feeling great Haha? |

Sometimes it's hard to see the wood for the trees round here, but when you do find it, it makes every moment worth it - there are some wonderful people here, some who I feel privileged to call friends, even though, in some cases, I've never met them, and maybe never will.
People tend to highlight the bad things about this place, but there's a heck of a lot of good here too - people who are willing to offer their wisdom and advice, people who will offer a shoulder to cry on, those who take time to offer reasoned and balanced and sympathetic opinion and those who just plain listen and don't judge.

Fab is definitely a great and funny place. I think I remember telling you about what happened a few years ago.
Fab certainly helped me get out of a dark place. It gave me the courage to overcome my social anxieties despite me having Asperger's Syndrome and I made many great friends and had many great experiences over past couple of years on Fab. |

I’ve been on Fab 9 years. About five and a half years ago I discovered the forum at a time I’d just about had enough with the site. Since then I have had the pleasure of meeting some truly lovely online friends who have helped me deal with a few challenging issues and I’ve become part of the furniture.
