The subject for today is hijacking. Now there is such a thing as coincidence and such a thing as hijacking. I prefer coincidence (which does happen) as hijacking has to do with theft.
Do you try to be original when starting a thread?
Or sometimes are inspired by another thread to start your own?
With an acknowledgement to others about that inspiration, most people do that on here, you don't have to name names, just acknowledge the outside inspiration. It's called being thoughtful.
This is not a personal rant, just an observation.
What do you think?
Answer when the sleep is out of your eyes and you have the time.

Someone posts a new post and five minutes later another post comes up, same subject matter. Of course it could be a coincidence I genuinely acknowledge that. Yet patience or
mutual respect also have their place. |

Lack of imagination or a sycophant springs to mind but I'm guessing you'd have to address those that do as you've stated, to get to the real root of the issue. Or you could just ignore it and comment on one or both (the duplicate that is) when they appear. |
