So I got an unexpected friend request on Facebook this evening from my first love from high school. She was so beautiful my nickname for her was ‘Perfect’ but we never did get together.
Unfortunately she is happily married lol I was going to tell her but thought I’d look a right ( • )

My first love (well school love and it felt like love at the time). He was the same year as me and so fucking hot, we were the couple for a while but then he found himself going off with different girls but my love for him never waived.
I met up with him a few years ago for a coffee, unfortunately he hadn’t changed much since school personality wise and I realised he was a complete dickhead, today’s his 40th birthday too lol, wondering if to send him the obligatory happy birthday dickhead message on Facebook or leave it for this year  |

My first love I’m still in touch with. I’ve known him 16 years, fell for him 14 years ago. He was quite a dick to me at the time, but we’ve both grown up. After stint of not speaking for a couple of years (life got moving for us both) we got back in touch, about 3-4 years ago. I told him how he made me feel, the good and the bad, laid everything bare. He sincerely apologised. We’re still very good friends and speak regularly. |

I still occasionally see my first love. He was my 'first' and I have very fond memories of him and our time together, it was all rather innocent and beautiful. I really wouldn't find him attractive now though. |

I haven't seen my first love since my early twenties. He posted a message on Friends Reunited (THAT long ago  ) that I was too much woman for any one man.  We never did anything more than kiss and a bit of groping.

My first love and I split when she went to Uni and I did my apprenticeship, we both went on to meet and marry different people. She’s now divorced and I’m a widower but we’re best friends and neither of us would do anything to harm that |

Aw yes, I was 7 he was 11, Junior school. He brought me a straw donkey back from holiday abroad it was wrapped in gold paper with my name written on in pencil. I wouldn't share my pickled onion monster munch with him and when he kissed me on the cheek at Easter I ran off and cried. He was my first love.
I did find him on Facebook years ago, and chatted a little, he remembered most of it, I did tell him he was my first love. He thought it was sweet lol. |

I joined Facebook in March and the first person I messaged from my old school was I girl I really had a crush on but I was too shy and timid to do anything about it.She lives in Turkey and from
having long black hair she now has long blonde hair but that smile lights up her whole face.We messaged a few times she didn’t give anything away what her situation is or didn’t ask what mine is but she looks very happy.I send her messages but apart from our first exchanged messages she never responds such is life. |

I had a message on Facebook from mine, broke my heart when I was 15.
I laughed looking through his pics, he looks like the 118 man! Laughed at myself for allowing to be hurt from it years ago.
Then I laughed again at the lucky escape, and the thought of what our kids would of looked like! |

Yes school romance and still remember her. We dated from about 16 to 18 and she was my first love and I was hers. She eventually married a friend of my brother. My mum was really good friends with her husband's mum and I still hear about old school friends from my family so know they are still together which is sweet. Lovely girl and gorgeous from memory but no desire to see what she is like these days. |

His name is Steve. He opened my eyes to many things and taught me a lot about myself. He broke my heart massively. Went on to choose two other people over me.
We are still in touch, haven't actually seen him for 2 years though.
He's now on wife no 2 and apparently unhappy. I think in some ways I had a lucky escape, in others I'll probably always love him a little bit. |

I haven't seen my first love in over 20 years, when we broke up at 17 I remember being absolutely devastated, the kind of pain you can only feel at that age when you have no real life experience to put it into perspective and deal with it. She was stunning and I moped around like a love sick puppy for the best part of a year afterwards. Then I met my second love who was equally gorgeous but again we broke up a year later when she went off to uni and I was heartbroken again for quite some time. I think those early heartbreaks are probably why I've never been able to properly settle in a relationship since, such is life! |

My first love was also my friend Kelly, she was so beautiful and we got on really well, we grew up around each other but we were never single at the same time. It's really strange, we often spoke of it but we never got together. I still have her in my phone 20 years later and we have both never settled in a relationship but it is way too late now, too much has happened and I am 200 miles away.
Such a shame, my dear mum always wanted us to be together.
