Is the male moustache dying out?

When I was a kid, you always had teachers, relatives etc who had proper Tom Selleck type moustaches. But nowadays you rarely see anyone under 60 with a decent moustache. You sometimes you might see the odd bloke with one of those ironic German type moustaches. Is the proper male moustache dying out?

Doesn't some place in Germany have a annual competition to find the best moustache?

I hope not. My dad was confused for Tom Selleck on more than a few occasions growing up.

I'd rock one myself, only I'm fairer haired and sporting a technicoloured Tash

I think once I get bored with my neater, less wildman/Viking beard. I'll move onto 'Wolverine style chops' #Notevenjoking.

Not far

When I shaved my beard off, I paused at the moustache and took a selfie. Hideous.

Its definately a generation thing I think... my Dad has had a proper Charles Bronson... the actual actor...not the bonkers one... tache since the 60's. He suits it, to the point where during his chemo, the loss of hair didnt upset me, the loss of his tache made me cry til I was hysterical.. however, if my OH got rid of his beard and just kept the moustache I think I'd find I'd rather he just got rid of the lot

They'll be back. My local can be like the reunification of Germany 1870, with beards aplenty. Few years back that was unimaginable too.

The 'tache is still going strong in the army, being as it's the only facial hair allowed. I don't have one though, I'd look a tit

I still see a few twisty ones but not in shoreditch. Maybe Hackney and here in Brooklyn.

Beards are cool, as long as not big bushy ones, I prefer men with short smart beards

I love the fact that he had to specify 'male moustache'... Made me twirl the ends of my imaginary one and go 'bwahahahahaha!'
