Just block them and move on.
I havent recieved any abusive messages so far, but I have felt like sending a couple to annoying men who don't seem to know the meaning of the word straight. |

Are these just sent randomly or specifically to you or in response to a mail you’ve sent?
Either way there’s no excuse for abuse, so block the mo-fo, it’s not like you’s want to meet them after that anyway. |

I don't think anyone wants you to. Just trying to contextualise your thread? Are you getting abuse in response to messages you sent? Or is it random people? What sort of abuse? Trying to understand if theres a reason why you've been singled out? |

I sent a message with face pics to a couple the other day and they replied when I had been out all day so later on the night I replied to them just to get a load of abuse and"THAT WAS 11 HRS AGO DON'T BOTHER,very pushy but goes to show that there is a small amount of egos on here who like the world to revolve around them...and it's usually mostly men so surprising that it was a couple.
I wouldn't worry mate because like a previous post mentioned "there the problem not you.

I get the odd nasty one on occasion when i have refused a meet. I just take it as a sign of how upset they are they dont get to have me and relieved as confirmed the reasons I didn't wanna meet. lol |

I can count the number of abusive messages I’ve had in over 5 years on Fab on one hand!
That said- I don’t send ‘no thank you’ messages - which seems to be where the abuse most people get stems from!
What I do get - though - is a lot of nastiness in the background - an anonymous (to me anyway) group of women messaging people I’ve met or may meet to slag me off and ‘warn’ them against me! Frankly I’d far rather they had the balls to message me with their issues instead - but I know they’re far too spineless and need to act in numbers! |

Sorry this has happened to you, it's clearly upset you as your posting this.
We just give the " thanks but no thanks" then instantly block. That way they don't get the chance to respond, nice or other.
We're here for our fun. We will do so not matter what others think / say. Just move on - it's them not you. |

I've never had a message (that I can remember) out of the blue, that was abusive. But unfortunately quite a few after I've turned down a meet. But it truly is water off a ducks back with me, I honestly don't care. They get blocked I get on with my day |

I've had all sorts of vile messages sent since I joined fab. I'm very honest and vocal about people who are rude which makes some think it's okay to send abuse.
There are a lot of ignorant pigs on here. Just be happy in the knowledge you're better than them. |

Thanks lovely! Tbh it used to bother me so much it made me cry - as loads of guys I got on with really well refused to meet me again because of the hassle they got - but now I just shrug it off!
I enjoy the site and I’ve made great friends - so I’m staying put! |

I've never had one, but I don't message much tbf. I've had one or two sarcy replies in my day saying read the profile etc because I didn't put purple pineapple popsicle in the subject line, but they just tickled me |

Can't remember the last time I had an abusive message. I don't see them as that. They're just pissed off at something. Most usually apologise anyway.

If ANYONE is sending you unsolicited abusive messages.
Block and report.
Someone you've met?
Block and report.
Someone you're digitally friends with?
Block and report.
Why wouldn't you? How else will these people learn what is and isn't acceptable behaviour when it comes to treating with you.
If it's solicited, because you've been a Cunt in the Forum, said something stupid, been a bit bossy, a bit rude, a bit arrogant.
Then it's to be expected right?
Even still, you can block.. It's what the button is there for.
I block people for looking at me funny.. Say something I find a bit nasty? Blocked. Bit of a twat? Blocked. Ugly preferences? Blocked. Occasionally I'll give a Royal Reprieve and let them all out of prison. If only to have fun blocking them again.
Block and then forget. If they chase you in the Forum after you've reported and blocked. Guess who will be getting a might hit with the Mod Hammer? ("ManBreaker" I hear it's called) Not you, if you keep cool, calm and collected.
