Remind yourself that this shitty feeling won't last.
Distract yourself with something else for a while, watch a movie, escape down the youtube rabbit hole, read a book...

I managed to have a chat with a friend earlier and it helped me feel a bit better.

Yeah. I had a rest a couple of hours before hand which helped clear my head as well. |

We dont gain friendships..we kinda earn them . That works both ways. Sometimes it's very hard to actually accept the tiny little fact that... well....people like you and they want to be your friends and they when they do call and text it's not out a sense of obligation but becuse they really do just wanna see what your up too. Talk more to your friends dont be scared to tell them how your feeling, and when they start to maybe talk about your attributes, and laugh and smile as they do so, try not to cringe inside as they mean every word..they wouldn't be around to know any of that stuff if they did t want you in their life too. |
