I'm on the move again, and will soon be starting work in Solihull.

So, I don't really know Brum at all well, so I'm looking for advice as to where the best places in the south/ south east of the city

wolverhampton

There’s some lovely districts in south Brum but in common with all major cities there’s plenty of dodgy areas.

Moseley is great in a bohemian/hipster kind of way and it’s neighbour Kings Heath is nice too. Both are about a 15/20 minute commute from Solihull.

Parts of Solihull are very desirable but can be very expensive places to live.

If I was making the choice then I’d be looking at Kings Heath for it’s easy commute and is just 15 minutes from the centre of Birmingham which is a vibrant city.

Redditch

Redditch is not bad. The house prices and rents will be cheaper than Solihull.
