Bloody cold sores, they ruin your fun! (At least for a few days)
This got me thinking of all sorts of “remedies” that people use when they are not 100% eg colds, flu etc. So, what are your go to remedies when you’re under the weather? What do you swear by?
My goto for hangover = flat lucozade orange - my rationale: fluid surrounding brain is made up of glucose and water. I know it’s still relevant to dehydration but for me it works. |

Yes I have lots of remedies... Echinacea is awesome for the onset of colds and flu like symptoms but need to indigest it early on for maximum effect. I make my own but you can buy tablet or spray form in any health shops |

"Can’t you just go to Boots ?"
I wasn’t asking for advice on a cold sore I can manage that.
My question was generically around peoples go to ‘home remedies’ when they feel unwell or under the weather as you hear of wired and wacky things. |

Dont bother with lemsip for colds better to have normal paracetamol & berocca/vitamin c in hot water
"
Oh I NEVER buy the branded cold and flu stuff. I have read about lysine for cold sores. |

"For general mehness, toast - and plenty of it
For the sniffles, hot lemonade
For a full on cold, whiskey, hot water, lemon juice, honey
