Hey, all. We're going to a concert in June and was looking for somewhere to stay. Have seen a hotel called paradise Blackpool and wondered if anyone had stayed there? Also a club called Infusions?? Any reviews??? |

I'll give you a review of Blackpool. It's a shithole. It's inhabited by chavy pri.cks and you don't really understand what "downmarket" means till you get there. 1/5 would not go again. |

The Paradise is a great little hotel with a licensed bar playrooms, Sonia & Steve the owners are great hosts who bend over backwards to make your stay a good one.
We have been using the hotel 3 times a year for the last 8-10 years, Blackpool like a lot of coastal towns it's a bit tired looking but you can't fault the people who are very friendly & great fun. |

Thanks for the the input guys. I know all about Blackpool and it's 'shithole' status thanks. Been hundreds of times. I was referring to the swinging scene only. Club SX looks interesting. Might have to try. It's a bit night when we go, so could be fun!! |

Me and My Girl have yet to try the club's in Blackpool but we've talked to others who have. Pretty much everyone say go to Club SX (over infusions).
As to what other have said Blackpool being a shit hole, there kind of not wrong. BUT I love the place, it's also a treasure (be it well hidden sometimes). But then I suppose it depends on where you find beauty? I love going to Blackpool and I am very fond of it. |
