Why does it matter to you, OP? Also, how do you know they don't? Women don't tend to do all the strength training in the gym, they go more for cardio or classes, like yoga or pilates. Just because they are not showing ripped muscles everywhere doesn't mean they don't go to the gym. |

Why is this even a problem? ..... unless you really mean 'Why do curvy women say they go to the gym when they are still fat?'
I did the London Marathon when I was a Size 16. I went to the gym 5 times a week. Ran nearly every day.
Curvy isn't necessarily eliminated by the gym. |

I actually DO go! 4-5 times a week.
That said...... It seems to be kind of status symbol these days.
The amount of people I see in the gym who don't actually work out they just have the outfit and spend an hour taking selfies instead of actually doing any work.
God forbid they break a sweat and ruin their hair!!  |

I really don't get why this would upset you so much. If someone told you she was a woman and then turned out she had a penis, that I'd understand complaining about but this seems trivial... |

Neither P or myself go to the gym (though I used to have a rigid schedule of 6 hours of workouts a week in my home gym) though don't feel the need to say we do, so there's no difference between the sexes there!
Though to be fair we both have extremely physical jobs which seem to do the job of a gym for us and the best thing is that we get paid for going!
