I usually forget to check who’s winked at me and fail to really see the point of them. If you want someone’s attention, surely a message is a better way to approach someone?

I very rarely check my winks, if I see someone I like the look of, usually from the forums, I'll message them x

Then again judging by previous forum posts, most people don't respond to messages either, so it's a lose lose situation. I check winks & messages and resond to both but that's just me.

When I get a wink from a female I respond quicker than a Tesla in ludicrous mode. Often Faster than Elon Musk's space X rocket.

The wink is the single guy's signal to respond with some effort it's very handy.

I forget to check winks and usually bulk delete! Hubby looks and messages some couples if I haven’t already deleted before he looks! It used to say on our profile about messages get better responses than winks, but taken that out as no one seems to read profiles anyway!

Men winking at women or couples is useless as they receive so many most don't bother to check.

Women and couples winking single men however, is far more effective and able to make the person notice.

I always prefer winks to messages ... always check out the profiles and wink back if I want to chat! Saves so much effort compared to trawling through inane after inane message!

Problem is on here most of the time women do receive alot of messages off men so it's too much to go through them as well so slot of messages do get deleted so sometimes a message is as useless as a wink

We use winks as a quick way of saying 'hey there' to single guys - if that's what we're looking for on that occasion.

We use them in a similar way for other couples.

We seem to get responses most of the time. I think we'd do it differently if we were approaching a single lady, but we've never contacted a single lady!

This is what I do. I like to wink people I like if they like me they wink back. Then I will message them. I don't always like to message people to get no reply.

So a quick will won't waste much time.. Xx
