After years of learning skills in trans makeup, I'd love to pass on my skills to men who have an interest in using makeup and clothes to present as female. It really takes a lot of skill and took me a long time to learn, but if I can go from street thug to sultry Goddess, then anyone can

I'd love to teach, and have recently done some amazing transformations.

Essentials :

Wig (obviously)

Full coverage concealer a shade darker than your natural skin tone

Colour correction for beard shadow

Lipstick

Contouring and highlighters

Eyeliner

Mascara

Rouge

Eyebrow pencil

Yes this is much more than for a woman, but that's because we have to go from MALE to female so you literally need to paint a female face on.

Nope, that's a pretty standard list for us ladies as well, except colour correction is for under eyes rather than beard

Lol I do follow her actually but she doesn't do trans makeup. It's a very different ball game. Literally.

"Makeup is hard. Tips save a lot of angst and money."

Yes exactly. Spent crazy amounts of time and cash over the years, but finally learnt what works for me. Every person is different. I generally find that women need less makeup though, but the biggest difference on women is a good eyeliner and mascara and a well shaped brow. Next on the list some highlighter, contour and rouge.

For me it was being comfortable experimenting and understanding my colouring better. In my case, learning that "universally flattering" neutrals sucked the colour from my face and I had to go a bit bolder.

And that my off kilter ideas about what looks nice on me work.

Absolutely agree. It is VERY individual. Plus everyone has a personal style.

Yup! In fact, I probably use more!

I'm makeup artist so when I go out out I like to get glammed up, day to day, the list isn't quite as long.

Lovely of you to offer some advice OP

Thank you. Well I'm not a professional but I have helped a few newbies go from male to female quite convincingly and they could finally relax and enjoy themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin.
