.... Have a really bad day with your stress/anxiety?
I know people have done this thread before... But I've woken up today and really don't know what to do with myself, my anxiety has gone through the roof.... For no reason... Just wanted to get it off my chest and I dont have anyone else to talk to....
What do people do to try and stifle it... I've been for a long walk..... I'm not trying a cup of tea and a biscuit, I feel like I'm about 90 |

Constantly.. I go for a walk and sit outside and focus on something beautiful near me for a while to ground me. If it's stuff on my mind I write them down so I can see them and know that they're doable and not such a big thing x |

Yes, lots of the time. Be kind to yourself. Do you have a favourite book, film or singer you could distract yourself with? It’s ok to have a day snuggled up on the sofa and just immerse yourself in something just for you. Plus talk to us on Fab, there is always someone to listen x |

When I get anxious: I walk my cat - on a leash. I’m never nervous when I walk him, thus realize there’s no need to be nervous at all; most wouldn’t be seen dead walking a cat |

I'm still at the stage where I don't know HOW to be kind to myself, so I can't really give advice on that bit.
I have a group of friends on the scene who whenever I go to theirs I'm instantly grounded. That's simply not possible all the time though.
I've tried watching people being kind to one another, ya know, random acts of kindness, but that seems to do the opposite sometimes and really stresses me that people can be so shitty to one another when there's no need at all, other days it can be just the ticket.
But most of all, knowing people care helps a lot.
