That was my house in Nottingham up until 2007! And when looking to buy up here 2 years ago saw one with no central heating - they are still out there! |

10yrs with no central heating, moved here 3yrs ago.
New plumbing, rewired then the radiators went in

Having to get up to alter the volume, change chanel.

The 'remote control' was actually on a wire.

The phone was attached to the wall, in the big room and had a dial on the front. Not that you ever heard it ring cos you were playing out with your mates or in later years on the street corner drinking (insert cheap alcohol of choice) and trying to show off to someone you fancied, ahh, some things never change |

Having to get up and press the buttons on the tv to change the channel and shouting its back on when the add break was over, if someone went to the toilet etc..... Awww back in the day |

Though I did make a daisy chain at Easter for grand daughter.
We did it with butter cups as well " the butter cup under the chin to see if you liked butter or not |
