I've kinda done this twice.
First time I genuinly couldn't remember where I'd parked it. I was pretty ill at the time and had a massive panic attack. Had to get the car park management team to find it for me.
Couldn't remember what floor it was on or even what entrance I'd used.
Second time not so much forgotten as WTF?
Newbury show, drove in, parked up, spent the day wandering around. On the way in I'd counted how many rows back the car was and roughly how many cars down the row it was.
Got back, counted rows, counted cars, no sign of mine.
Wondered if more rows had parked up while I was inside so walked up and down 5 rows either side of where I thought I should be.
An hour later I'm exhausted.
Called the car park attendants, told them the problem.
Oh they said, are you in the right car park?
Turns out there's two.
They gave me a lift and there was my car, exactly where I'd left it.
These days I tie a balloon or a strip of ribbon to the aerial.....
