Nope. We’ll be sat at home frustrated because the road closures mean there’s no way off our estate.
I’m happy for everyone taking part and I hope they really enjoy their day but can’t help wishing it was happening somewhere else |

Was not that fussed about it originally but a really enjoyable day, a lot of people enjoyed themselves so for one day I can accept a little inconvenience.
Had great viewing spot at bottom of hill from Kings Norton Green, surprisingly quick! |

I’ve heard of some pretty disturbing incidents during the event today.
Unconfirmed reports of an impatient driver removing cones and knocking 3 cyclists over, one of whom was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital. As I say, this is unconfirmed and may just be rumour. I sincerely hope that it’s not true!
Also, I saw on the bbc website, local news section that the event stewards would not permit a vet on an emergency call through the closed roads. As a result, a mare in labour bled to death and her foal died too ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |

I witnessed a nurse being unable to pass to get to work. I'm all for such events but as a resident it proved difficult
for some people who needed to pass.
I hope that the reports of injury are unfounded. |

It’s worse than the rumours, the cyclist airlifted to hospital died

If they plan to run this event again the organisers need to seriously improve their planning and marshalling of the event, throughout the entire course and not just in the city centres! |
