Being the age I am, I did alot of Rave All Nighters (even when I was in the Army used to travel from Germany to essex, stoke, reading etc)
So who else loves the HH and still plays the anthems
(steam train, heart of gold, raver baby etc)
Or just me?
And if not a raver, what was your choice for late teens to late twenty's? |

"I enjoy HH music, but much prefer the psy-trance scene. The people are a lot more chilled. Still go clubbing occasionally, not as often as I used to though."
I tend to agree although the psy scene can be a bit oddball sometimes too, in its own way. Although there's more going on with the music at most psy events. Hard House is quite a narrow genre even by the time you widen your horizons to hard trance, nu-nrg, hard style etc etc |

The oddballness of the scene is what I love. It's like everyone is hearing a different beat, they are all dancing differently. |

We were all house music in our early teens, the club scene in Birmingham was brilliant, miss moneypennys and sundisential were huge nights when we managed to sneak in (underage).
Jeremy Healy was the king!!
Was actually listening to a classic mix tape of his a couple of nights ago ~ Liquid grooves

Ah I get that. I was at a warehouse event in 2013 I think, and in the middle of a floor was people chanting and shite. I mean what ever floats your boat I'm good with, but in the middle a set at 6am??? |

To have heard some of the people banging on about it, it's a miracle any of us saw the new year in. I must admit I was a little disappointed by the lack of any tangible apocalyptic phenomena... I mean, even the Rise of Trump which could I suppose be considered a harbinger of the Day of Reckoning didn't really happen for a good few years after the Mayans predicted... |

You'd love Goa. There's still a big psy-trance scene out there. |
