So the Glasweigan accent has been voted in at no 3..... not sure I agree haha
The Essex accent came out on top as the sexiest in the UK, with Northern Irish in close second and Glasgow making the top three.
Which accent do you find sexiest??
From newspaper article

You can thank TOWIE for people getting put off. Until that damn show I remember the accent being much more popular! |

"I should probably name the ones I've had sex with recently.
Oh the Glaswegian accent can be sexy as fuck. I like most accents and find them a turn on to be honest. Such a cop out."
Most accents... Except mine |

Most accents are sexy especially if the person it comes from is hot.
We are from Brum but ppl think the yam yam accent is Brummie but we don't sound nothing like that, that accent is more black country than brummie |

Geordie normally comes out top, that's one of the reasons there are so many call centres in that area - seen as a friendly or sexy accent.
Anyone who said Essex, well, no comment.
Personally a lovely soft Welsh lilt does it for me |

Does make me laugh how many say Scouse.
1. Australian. I use to speak to a girl from Sydney and it was like my ears were having orgasms when she talked
2. Geordie
3. Sheffield |

I'm a sucker for soft southern Welsh accent. There's someone in Brighton who has a lovely voice. Another in Yorkshire I've spoken to, who doesn't sound like she's from Yorkshire at all |

"To be fair, certain scouse accents can make me cringe x"
I’m from Liverpool and I do like a scouse accent on a man, not a cringy “ calm down calm down “ one but a natural softly spoken is nice. I’m not offended by many when spoken correctly. |

Agreed, there's definitely a nicer Scouse accent and bad Scouse accent, it's usually scallies that have the worse one. |

I love dialect and accents. I love most as I said previously so long as they are softly spoken as such. I have a thing for Manchester at the moment. Does anyone else mimic accents? I’m bad for it and don’t know I’m doing it, but in work if someone comes in with an accent I suddenly start talking like them ,,,, call me polly |

I’m a sucker for a London accent. But I’m a cockney living in Manchester so I suppose it’s just me missing home!
As long as I can understand them I’m happy.
Although on holiday once I was chatting to two beautiful Irish ladies in a bar and their voices mesmerised me that I didn’t hear a word they were saying lol I remember actually saying so sorry I haven’t heard a word you’ve said when they were waiting for an answer.
