Depends if their profile picture grabs me, if yes then;
Distance
Whether I’m in age range
If I’m still interested I’ll go to pictures
Then profile
Pictures once more
Then message. |

Visual person. Drawn in by the pictures first.
But then I do try to remind myself to read the bio first to get an idea of what they're like. How they read in their bio really says a lot about whether we'd conversationally be on the same wavelength and that decides whether there's any point scanning through their statistics section and what their interests are. Finally if everything seems conducive to the possibility of a rapport being established, contact is made. Often in vain but made nonetheless.
I can't stress how important it is they sound cogent. Otherwise they're essentially a very alluring but empty vessel.
The funny ones always are a pleasure to read. Usually the ones that show a self awareness. |

The first pic or 2 then the profile text.
The minute I spot a ranting profile, I click back to another page. Bigger turn off than a crusty, dirty white sock stuck to a mattress. |

Depends on why I have viewed their profile.
Have they viewed me or even rarer winked, fab'd or mailed?
Have they appeared with an interesting status update or looking for a meet?
Have they posted something funny, profound or just weird in the forums?
Did their picture just catch my eye?
Am I just out for a perv? |
