He had three chances (two, if we're only counting the boys) to tweet a picture of a 'posh little fella' that happens to be a chimpanzee. I'm really quite saddened that his bias came through in this way and that his non-apology at the time was that only those with 'diseased minds' see it as racist. | |||

Just saying " We have had decades of people of colour being compared to chimps/monkeys etc. Just because it has been used often doesn't mean that it isn't racist. If people are ignorant of the connotations then they truly are blind to the world around them. They have managed to live in a bubble where monkey noises have never been made to people of colour, or seen the images used to depict people of colour or even the fact that some AI has been designed in a such a way as to not recognise black skin colour so it sees apes or doesn't recognise the skin at all. Baker grew up in London. He's not that much older than me. He will have seen the behaviours I describe in Bermondsey because it was not uncommon. | |||
