What an amazing piece of documentary footage, the human race will be responsible for it’s one destruction. How much longer can this planet survive the abuse the human race is subjecting it to. ?????????

Fantastic program. Watching the way mankind is spreading like a disease over the earth. We swallow up land for; housing, food, transport that every single human consumes; and space for rubbish that every single human creates. Not to mention the damage we’re doing to the oceans Maybe we need to control the population growth. One couple one child and the population would start to fall and so would our demand on the planets limited resources

Its interesting to look down on it though and see just how much space is actually left. I think that sometimes driving around the country, past towns and cities there is so much unspoilt bits still. Which is lovely

Sadly because some do.

Make money while you can and your not about to see what happens after.

I will watch it.. But if its about climate change then I'm not buying it, because they say our climate changed before and that was long ago before humans had anything to do with it.

Great episode tonight but so very sad to see the wilful selfish destruction that we are making.

Vote wisely this month. Do what you can to influence the withdrawal of Palm Oil in products too.

hiding from cock pics.

In my humble opinion, we are the toxin and the virus. The planet will survive us, and be well rid of us and all we do.

It may well want to just do dinosaurs again.

Humans are doing ok. We are shitting our own nest though and causing other species to go extinct or dangerously low in numbers. To survive and keep our earthly co-inhabitants around, we need good education and less consumerism.

Let's be honest, most of our species are more concerned with some creator or other and the past than the immediate or long term future. Whilst miyst of us, want wealth, big house and a flash car or two. Get a donkey!

I think people are missing a point here.

The Earth will be FINE! Reality is that we humans are just pests and once the Earth is sick of us, it will go through one of its cycles, get rid of us and being anew.

In its current state we are, but the changes weve implimented clearly show we will be in for a tough time.

The simple facts are there is too many of us, global restrictions on population growth should be put in place.

Madagascar - an island david attenborough used to describe as paradise for wildlife, 80% of its jungle stripped for farming and living space.

We are, as a species a ruthless, irresponsible group, if we dont make changes future generations will reap the holocaust to come.

The earths environment would be changing with or without us yes we are polluting etc but the atmosphere was very toxic once and in the the scheme of things we have only existed a very short period of the earths history

The Earth is 4.6 billion years old. Scaling that to 46 years, humans have been here 4 hours, the industrial revolution began 1 minute ago, and in that time we’ve destroyed more than half the world’s forests.

This isn't sustainable.
