Women often message me first... maybe it's you?
Ask yourself this:
What are YOU doing to sell yourself, how do you make yourself stick out from the crowd, if you were a lady... would you choose YOUR profile out of all the single guys to contact?

I do, when I'm interested. But tbh I get enough messages that I don't have to.
I have to be interested, though, and it takes a great profile (better than 95%) or a fascinating forum exchange to do it. |

If you were looking for a job would you sit and wait for it to land in your lap or would you actively go out and look for it?
Many women do message first, however there are not many ladies here and hundreds of men. If you sit waiting then the likelihood of you getting a message is next to zero |

Seriously, do you get random women coming up to you in the street asking for your number?
If not, get over yourself, lower your inflated ego and be prepared to engage with people and receive knock backs. That’s just life. |

Face it op, ladies on fab just don't have too. They are probably busy answering mail to trawl profiles whereas us chaps either do that, perv the pics or twiddle our thumbs....or another part of our anatomy

Some do, most don't. It's the way the fish market is. They can browse over the fresh supply and see those who are flapping the most with the fresh looking eyes.
I used to message and eventually got tired of wasting a lot of time with what I thought were suitable appropriate messages, but found out they probably had 30 good ones out of the 150. Then they'd get a few more to add to that the next day and so on. Mine dropped down the list as new ones went to the top.
This time I made a new year resolution not to message first and see if it worked. They could see me in forums and if interested then they can message. That was a much better starting line. Those with a bit of risk in them, so far it works. |

Most of the women I talk to on here OP, they messaged me first.
Perhaps sometimes people forget there are other people of both sexes behind the screens, not just a collection of shiny objects in a toy box? |

It eliminates those not interested all together without wasting a thought. It brings those who of interest as I prefer those who have a bit of get up and go gumption. Often reflective between the sheets, outside the sheets and anywhere else. An element of self confidence which is a good trait. Boxes are already being ticked before we've even conversed. |

When you have so many profiles to choose from, the profiles that stand out from the rest, will typically get the women messaging first |
