Forgetting the name of things

I truly believe that baby brain is a legit thing. My memory is awful, I can’t remember the name of things, I can’t remember what I’m meant to be doing most of the time and I can barely bloody talk.
So; pregnancy related or not, have you got any funny stories?
I forgot what a freezer was and called it an ice freezer.
I also forgot that Calvin Harris and Andy Murray weren’t the same person. Heard Andy Murray was retiring and thought ‘ah well, at least he has DJing to fall back on’ |

The brain is a weird fucked up thing. I'm a quizzer and know shitloads of facts and useless information, but I can walk out of a room and turn a light ON , and I often forgot the name of something or a random word mid- sentence  |

I was fine during pregnancy. I had a quick brain with a very good memory up until my mid 30s, when I got ill.
It's been going downhill ever since, to the point I dropped my grandchildren to school one morning and didn't know where I was.
I describe objects when I can't remember what they are called.

It's been going downhill ever since, to the point I dropped my grandchildren to school one morning and didn't know where I was.

I know lots of things, (I'm sure) but none of it ever appears in my brain when I want it too. Family/dogs/objects all just get called by whatever name my brain conjures up at that time |
