Depends on the person I reckon.
Can give one person an over inflated ego, to the point they think they're the mutts nuts when in reality the only person that genuinely likes them is the fucker looking back at them in the mirror.
For another person it can make them question their every move, comparing themselves to others, wondering what the hell they need to do "to be good enough"

Also depends on what on the internet your talking about....fab / tender / airbrushed professional models / media bombardment of stories and images of celebrities mostly generated and circulated by their agents about how amazing their lives in a fishbowl is ?
If whatever you are reading / looking at online is either over inflating or deflating your ego OP, I'd consider cutting down on whatever is doing that. |
