Something I have learnt is this. Unless you are a part of that persons life RIGHT NOW, you have no clue what's going on behind closed doors

Even IF you're a part of a persons life right now, you may STILL have no clue what's going on behind closed doors.

The only 2 people who truly know what's happening in their relationship are those 2 people

I'm guessing your ex's girlfriend is not your BFF ? I'd stay out of it at the best of times, but especially in this situation as it might come across as revenge against him on your part, regardless of how genuine your concern for his GF might be.
