Do you ever watch this and just think, regardless of how crap the day may have been, I'm one lucky lucky bugger??

I'm almost healthy.. have the best friends and family and someone who truly lights my day up..

What are you grateful for right now?

I ended up in hospital earlier, amongst other things baby wasn’t moving. As soon as the midwife touched my belly with sonogram he kicked her. And he’s been moving ever since

So grateful

Masked and Distant

Always watch it.

Anyone can end up there at any time.

Enjoy life while you can.

I'm grateful for my health, family, a good over our heads and the freedom to laugh.

I spent some time in hospital and in 6 weeks I had just 2 days where I didn't have a visitor.

It made me appreciate my health and how vulnerable I am but also that I have such good people around me and for that I'm truly grateful, so many people have no one.

Great post OP.

Remind us to appreciate things that we have now and appreciate others who make our lives better.

I am grateful of my current independence in all aspects of life. I dread the day that I might have to depend on others

You toughen up. First 6 months I wasn't sure, I changed jobs as U got offer a different role elsewhere (carried on working as bank staff for NHS) but returned to this one and stayed since. I get the appreciation from patients. There are some assholes but majority are nice and grateful for all the help.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I don't watch it but have always been grateful for the NHS, the staff who have been there to save me me, several times and, most of all, my wonderful GP. He called me on Christmas Eve, just before leaving for home, to make sure I had my test results and to make the necessary referrals. The appointment letters came in before New Year's Eve.

I'm most grateful for my long-suffering family. They love me, despite me being me. We laugh a lot.

Right now, I'm watching First Dates and grateful I haven't me the rude prat just on. That poor woman, watching this after her date.

Ha ha snap.. she was beautiful! I hid behind a cushion..

I love that programme.. spend the whole hour on the edge of tears hoping nobody dies.

Eternally grateful for the NHS and the lengths they go to... and still do for other family members. Defo makes me stop and think!
