I would like to say Happy Valentines Day, but today its not my day, my husband is away and not bben able to send flowers or sorts or even a card...how gutted am I that I also missed his phone call this morning, so now have to wait 5 days for another.
He should be home here bringing me breakfast in bed with that single red rose, snuggling up with warm cuddles and kisses, but instead he is on a ship doing cold war training in degrees as cold as -20, I know he cant read this...Happy Valentines Day baby, Imiss you loads XxxxxxX |

Daft fool that I am, this brought the prickling of tears to my eyes. I am sorry you missed his call, but you know he tried and both of you know that you are thinking of each other this morning. That's the most important thing. Its not about cards and flowers, its about knowing that person is thinking about you.
He made the effort to contact you, but is physically unable to do so again, I know you would have liked to hear his voice but I'm sure the knowledge you are on his mind means a lot to you.
