"It's a baby! Nothing clever, nothing remarkable something that billions of women have done over thousands of years! If you are getting excited about the birth of a child that you don't know, won't know and perceive to be some sort of idol then your life needs a serious overhaul. I am not anti Royal but cannot see why so many people revel in such remarkable insignificance. What next? Are you going to line the streets to pay homage to men who put the bins out? " Yes, it is something that women have done forever, but that doesn’t make it any less of a miracle, and doesn’t undermine every mother’s strength and power to grow and birth a child. Every single birth, whether it’s a royal baby or the baby of Jill who lives a few doors down is not in the slightest bit insignificant. I get excited over a stranger’s birth story, her becoming a mother and her baby; didn’t realise that should make me a social outcast.

" Every baby delivered safely to a healthy mother is both clever and remarkable, childbirth is still a fucking dangerous business even with today's medical advances. The human race has become way too cynical if it can't just be pleased for a minute that a family has welcomed a new life safe and sound.

" For many more than you can imagine, birth is not a remarkable insignificance. Yes, it happens a lot, every minute of every day, but not for all of us. If nothing else, people are donating to children's charities to mark this birth. New life is a marvellous thing and they are sharing their joy with others, as many parents do - just on a bigger scale.

I’m sure it’s the sons children’s sons children that automatically get titles (something like that). I know Williams children were gifted with the titles before they were even born. When the queen dies I think Archie will automatically get titles Yes, the Queen has to gift it, but Harry and Meghan have decided against a title for him " Ah okay!

"I'm not a follower of the Royal family, but I was genuinely pleased to hear about the arrival. A lovely news story for a change. I agree, we get so much sad news these days. They look a lovely little family Exactly! Their excitement is infectious. I'm baffled why some people wouldn't see the birth of a healthy baby as good news. There are some odd people around. I don't understand why some aren't pleased that a baby has been born healthy, doesn't matter what family they come from." Some people are just bitter and outright nasty.

He’s a younger version of him. He’s done some very none politically correct things when he was younger too.....a real chip off the old block

"Was lovely to see Harry beaming with pride, always liked H he,s a credit to his mum..... Absolutely spot on " Yes, but... Charles has been there parenting throughout. He's had to deal with people saying Harry isn't his son - how might that have affected Harry? He stepped in when Harry was drinking and taking too many substances and helped develop his naturally more caring side. We can never know exactly what goes on in any family but Harry has become his own man.
