Can you remember what they said about you in your old school reports?
Did you 'manage to fill your potential' or are you still rubbish at all the things they said you were? |

I found some of my old reports at the weekend.
My math teacher said something along the lines of me struggling to manipulate numbers, so Im not sure how I ended up managing multi-million pound budgets.....but other than that Im still pretty much rubbish at (or not interested in) the same things as I was then |

"...is an easily distracted individual, who although is capable of completing his work rarely does so believing himself to be above school rules"
Probably some truth in it looking back.....still working for HMRC benefits my abilities. |

Mathis teacher wrote that I would not amount to anything and moved me down a class. As it turned out I achieved better grade than her complete class and ended up with a couple of degrees, own company and happy. She ended up sacked and working stacking shelves. Funny how life turns out.
A teacher who does not encourage and help develops about as useful as chocolate fire guard. |

On a slight tangent, our local specialist maths college reports that due to improved teaching methods in Mathematics, the pass rate will have risen to 107% by summer 2014. " I guess you could not work that one out, eh? |

It did and the group I moved to the teacher was great and she won a bet that I would do well. On a positive note it formed my way of teaching apprentices and the encouragement that I showed them. So he some was she has made a contribution to society without doing anything worthwhile. |

My reports varied massivly, i got could do better from teachers who liked me, the older i got the better the reports got, as the more engaged i was with the work the harder i tried. Very few teachers ever had much of a clue about me.
i didnt really make any effort till i got to uni |
