Butter, lots of it!!!

Also Nutella or chocolate fudge sauce, or my chocolate mousse or Tiramisu

Can't eat oysters - they make me gag! I need more practice

try whisking an egg

dipping ya crumpet in and put in the pan to cook.

Like mine to cool down a bit first so that the butter doesn't melt - love the warm crumpet and the cold butter

Proper butter and melted cheese, and so you can squeeze all the juice out.

Its the only way.

As for when - oooooh, any time of day

(and i find the cheap home brand ones better than the Warburtons ones as they too doughy and the butter doesnt soak all the way thru....lol)

Yep lots of butter, or maybe some golden syrup........... have to admit not trying crumpets as a savoury, but this is deffo giving me some ideas!
