No, not a euphemism, but what the takeaway just served me!
A tray of doner meat with an uncut pitta chucked on top. A separate tray for the salad (including cucumber - just why??), a separate pot for chilli sauce and a separate pot for the garlic mayo.
I know it probably saves them a few seconds in the prep, but you then have to build it yourself, never used to be like that.
And means 6 bits of plastic or unrecyclable container versus just one. |

Our local place has started doing them like that. I don't eat them anyway but my friends refuse to go, apparently it's not the same if the juices don't soak into the bread! |
