Done the gin tasting experiences, visited the amazing gin bars, raved aoutbotanicals etc. Even shelled out for Seedlip.
But favourite guilty pleasure is still Bombay Sapphire. |

I have a gin locker at a local gin bar.... it’s a fancy display box in a block of 30. 6 of us have a bottle each... mixers of our choice are free. We currently have in:
Hendricks
Parma violet
Pin Gin
Tanquery Seville Orange
Bombay sapphire
Sir Robin of Locksley
Each time we finish one we replace with a different selection although we always have a Hendricks and a Bombay in |

"The new craft gin box arrived yesterday- Romeo from Canada. Not bad, but not a patch on their best so far, La Republica.
Oh I’ve seen those advertised but didn’t know anyone signed up for it "
There seems to be a few of us signed up. Bit of a whim, but generally quite good. And you get all sorts of goodies with it too! |

*Ghengis sneaks into thread*
This is Anonymous! Stop drinking gin you filthy trend followers. I'll still be on rum and cheap ass res wine when it cycles back round. Because I like to drink it, not adorn it with compliments. Gin is for sad wives and spinsters .

I wonder when the gin bubble will eventually pop...
There’s some great drinks out there, but these gin bars that are springing up everywhere are taking the piss with what they charge. Even bottles in the supermarket are price creeping.
It’s not difficult to make, there’s no long maturation period and the production costs aren’t higher than normal. |

Chestnut House at Pooley Bridge in Cumbria is a must visit for any gin lovers in the area. They have over 400 different gins & always got loads on the tasting table. I could spend hours in there lol x |

I really like Monkey 47, Silent Pool, the Botanist and Bloom. Not keen on flavoured ones and I tried that Hendricks Mid summer one and didn't like it. It was so full of flavour, it was very overpowering. Hendricks original is a classic though |

If you can find it, try Hidden Curiosities gin. It's made by a young woman at Silent Pool, using their equipment and the bottle is a work of art. |
