Boy dog talks like Charlie the cat on the Charlie says public health ads on television.
Girl cat carries around a little fluffy chick toy, and won't leave it alone. |

My terrier likes watching sports on TV, anything with a ball. She's currently watching the snooker and bounces all over the place trying to follow the balls.
My collie seems to hate sports and goes to lay in the kitchen away from the TV. |

"My cat walks to heel, sits and gives you his paw for treats and responds to the name dog "
He used to play fetch with scrunched up balls of paper too, until we got another kitten |

My cat is a bit of a weirdo. He always stands on 3 legs and hardly ever puts all 4 on the ground at once. He holds his front paw up as though it hurts. After a few minutes he will swap over and lift the other foot. He uses the litter tray the same way and I always think he's going to topple over.
The vet confirmed he has no injuries or pain in his legs and is just a bit of an oddball
He also loves frijj milkshake and I always end up sharing with him. He recognises bottle and almost quivers with excitement and starts drooling when he sees it.
My other cat is pretty normal and doesn't do anything particularly odd. He is a bit of a nurse maid though. He always knows when you are feeling down or unwell and comes to love you better. |

I have 4 cats ... Yes I'm the crazy cat lady they all warn you about.
Scardycat (his actual name) hates humans. Will dash out the cat flap or hide as soon as we are in the same room or he hears any noise. Absolutely petrified of humans. Don't get it as he was born in my house and no one has ever treated him badly.
Logan - the laziest cat in the world. Will wait by the front door so we can open it up for him and let him I to the kitchen. Despite the fact that he can just jump over the fence and go via the cat flap.
Cat - is friendly but doesn't like being picked up. Is very greedy. Will not wait for me to finish putting the catfood down before ravishing it. Every single time and their diet is dried food so there is always food down for them.
Lucy- meant to be a stray cat. The friendliest cat I've ever had and loves attention. Proper little slut for cuddles. |

I will get a dog next. But not till my cats have lived out their lives. I've always wanted a dog but I have at least another decade before that happens. |

My dog now lives with my parents - she doesn’t like it if people eat at a dining table. She cowers behind the furniture and won’t come out until they’re finished. If she clocks on to the fact there are guests coming round, she hides upstairs until she can pop down and check they aren't using the table. We’re away this weekend and she’s done the same thing here. Strange animal. |

My childhood family dog (cocker spaniel) went through a spate of constantly licking the hoover bag and stealing raw potatoes and cucumbers.
My current cat is such a scaredy cat that when we had to move into temporary accommodation, he got a scare and ran and hid and got stuck up the chimney and I first thought he was dead |

Polly is my baby. She snuggles me to sleep every night and I wake up to find her snuggled into my neck/shoulder every morning.
She’s diabetic and an absolute doll when it comes to her treatment. She twice a day, after her meals, she comes and sits on my lap to wait for her insulin injection |

I sit on a bench on a country lane.a local Husky dog if she sees me comes bounding over from a quarter of a mile away for a chew/biscuit, friendliest dog I know.
To people walking in between it looks like a vicious wild wolf bounding towards them to attack them.. really funny (she bounds straight past them)! |

Cap’n Ash likes to sprawl out on my back as his way of moving from room to room, like I’m merely his draught horse.
Little Miss Jinna is like a dainty little beauty but her shit smells so bad, it wakes you up from downstairs in the middle of the night. |

My woofa is no longer scared of fireworks - she's now deaf.
She knows when B is on his way and waits at the door for him for about 20 mins or so before he arrives.
She will only eat if I'm in the house.

My youngest (under a year) cat is a complete hound. She will bite and rip her way through a pouch of food, and eat the contents.
My adult cat can open every door in the house. My neighbours find it hilarious when they see her opening the front door. She doesn't have to wait to be let back in. |

"My dog shags his teddy in his basket after every meal in front of everyone "
My first dog did this with a blanket but wouldnt wait until after dinner. We had to put up with him bouncing all over the lounge grunting and groaning until he was done. Then he'd proceed to lick himself until it went down. All this in front of us trying to eat. Dirty little sod had had the snip as well. |

I'll come in and seldom see the cat. If she's on her stool she doesn't even lift her head to acknowledge my presence.
I know when Ben is on the road because she'll appear like a bat out of hell, running from the sitting room, dining room and kitchen, meowing, before rolling around on the rug. |

The cats
Jet - she a little Madame thinks everyone should
Fall at her feet she’s alway up to something, when she was just a kitten she fell down the toilet while we were at work don’t know how long she was there before we got home vet couldn’t find a pulse and her temp was way down didn’t think she would see the night through a hot water bottle and skin to skin under my onesie and she’s lived to tell the tale super spoiled brat, she likes peeing on bags shoes or practically anything kids leave at their backsides rather than go outside when it’s wet.
Toby - we regimes him as a socially awkward Hates people you’ll never see him but empty bowl you know he’s still alive kinda cat, allmphr cats take prescription dry food because he gets crystals forming in his urine so he’s had a few ops before we got him the previous owner didn’t tell us he was meant to be on a script ! Within a month of being in our mad house he’s now an outdoor cat who loves everyone, well apart from our dogs and our other cat patch
Patch - the oldest but the family baby, he was hand reared when we got him for my son who at that time had lost the use of his legs, he’s friendly everyone loves him and he’s a proper sook he terrorises Toby sometimes but then always let’s thw other cats get snacks and treats first
The dogs
Kai - he was assaulted by a neighbour and skull completely spilt in half vets wanted to put him to sleep I got him to vet hospital and he’s here to tell the tale, he’s a proper yappy thing hardly does what you tell him has got food stuck in his throat and keeled over five times because he inhales food instead of chewing he’s that greedy ( lucky he’s had us around to perform a miracle getting them out), he terrorises Toby and he’s a daddy to six, he banged the neighbours dog twice
Bella - the baby is Kai daughter she’s fuxking bonkers and the cutest bundle ever, all the delivery drivers, postie you name it she chases them and barking away has no manners and doesn’t do as she’s told
Both dogs spend half the day with their heads out the car flap shouting at everyone
I used to have more cats and a ton of rabbits but our little zoo has decreased love my animals to bits |

One of my cats will sit when told. If i leave the bedroom door open he will jump on me at 5pm - exactly. Lastly if not covered up and it sounds weird, but he will try to suck my right nipple - he is not young as he is about 14 and my gf looks in shock when he trys it - ignores her. |

Our dog wont come in the house unless you give him a biscuit...and it has to be a chocolate biscuit. If it's just a plain biscuit he drops it and looks at you as if to say 'is that all I'm worth' and goes in a huff x |

That’s quite normal...he just sees you as the mummy cat. If he pads with his claws on your stomach at the same time and purrs, he’s trying to stimulate milk production. Once you’ve slipped into that role for them, they’ll try to do it forever . |

My cat is about 10. Was my ex-husband and daughter's cat she had at his house. When he moved into his mum's house to look after her they asked if I'd take the cat. She swore up and down she'd look after it etc, and it was an outside cat so no problem...that was eight years ago.
The vet said she had to stay in for six weeks...now she seldom goes out and her favourite place to sleep is Ben's chest. She stomps around a bit before curling on his chest, purring away. Never seen that before, didn't know it was normal. Every day's a school day.
My daughter has married and left home. I'm the litter box cleaner and vet payer and get totally ignored in favour of a Johnny come lately! |

My dog has a negative attitude (German Shepherds very often do)
Loves to bully the cat, but rarely wins because the cat bullies back.
He has a strict routine, awake at the same time each day, has to eat at the same times. If he is offered food in his bowl it stays there until the allocated time.
He likes a lot of attention, if I'm busy he will steal things to get i.t, tea towels mainly.
He loves watching telly, he loves action films.
He has a huge attachment to my son, sulks when he leaves.
He doesn't like people sitting in his spot on the sofa, and has been known to physically pull people off so he can reclaim it

Another one of mine was supposed to stay a week then told she would go into a cat home or worse. Did not want 3 cats. Hard work all time to stop her crapping inside. Think winning for weeks, then have to start again. She looks shifty so knows it is wrong. |

He also loves to steal ear plugs and run around with them and used to get in the bath with me when he was little.

One of the rare occasions my cat will find me - when a certain chopping board hits the worktop, that means meat is about to be prepared. If the vegetable board hits the worktop - nothing, but the meat one...before its hit the worktop I look down and there she is, sat quietly, waiting for the trimmed bits.
I find her stare unnerving at times. |

It's awful how cats are treated, it's nothing to get them spayed, we have a great cats protection league org locally and it's inundated with strays...heartbreaking... |

I agree. We think Molly was dumped pregnant and found our garden to have her kittens, we were actually on holiday, so they were found by my brother. We have a CPL lady up the road, she came round and fed them until they could be separated from mum. |

My cat makes me walk him on an extending leash. (He’s a Maine coon)
If I don’t, he kicks his litter all over the floor.
He sits, jumps, meows, gives paw on demand.
He can open drawers and doors.
He’s also a successful swinger. |
