Has anyone else here, started chatting to someone on here with conversation flowing then all of a sudden, nothing, all stop, no explanation?

Has anyone here done this and if so why? This isn't a whiney thread just curious.

Happens all the time.

People become busy with life shit, or bored...

Don't take it personally.

Been on here for over 2 years now with no meets and half finished conversations, if I've been taking it personally I'd have killed myself by now.

It's par for the course for guys here unfortunately. Women get swamped with messages. So many from people we actually wanna chat to get lost.

Sometimes I may in the mood for a heated chat and others not so much. I can have a limited attention span so it's easy for the chat to drop off.

Sometimes after chatting to someone for a while you get the feeling that the chemistry is wrong.

Me three... Or if I don't reply straight away and then it looses momentum... So end up leaving it

And me, I get very few messages so it shouldn't be hard for me to reply but, if I'm at work or busy I won't message untill I'm free; when that time comes I've forgotten.

It's what is right, according to fab standard use and site rules. Some people, especially single men, must expect to start contact with many people, as they are up against huge competition. Most people will not be compatible and it usually takes some time to determine this, or for someone else who's more matched, to be found.

Once you are understood as less or not suitable, conversation should be expected to stop. You may get informed nothing is going to progress but it's not normal to.

If you are investing in finding matches and getting some dead ends, this shows you and others are working well, so you don't get inappropriate meets or unrealistic expectations, when nothing would ever be fruitful.

Use your experience at getting better at filtering out those people who are not likely to be a good match - look for patterns that may exist. And form realistic expectations over what is possible. Remember too that others have partners, families and lives that take higher priority than no strings sex partners - people can be ready busy

Sometimes I just can't be arsed replying to messages. Then if I leave it too long it feels like the momentum has gone.

Absolutely, it's a shame and frustrating but I just assume they got a better offer

Often it's misunderstanding. We would never push anybody on here and if we get the feeling that someone is backing off we make it easy for them. Sometimes we've been mistaken.

There and to the left a bit

When I first signed up it used to confuse me too OP and then I realised that more often than not there was nothing to it more than the conversation tailing off, or there not being actually anything further needing to be said, or indeed real life cropping up and momentum being lost - I soon realised that it was quite easy to pick a conversation up again at a later date with the people that were interested in doing so.

Now I just see it as the natural ebb and flow of messages

I consistently fail to get replies after about 3 messages, I think I must just be boring.
