when we did the thread the other day telling people what we thought of them i got quite a few messages and they all ran along the same lines. I was pleasantly surprised. My son thinks im generous, kind, childish and supportive |

Everyone perceives things differently, it bust my brain to discover we don't all see colours the same!
I've no idea how they see me, half the time I don't know how I see me, it can change daily.
Tbh OP I have notes on you and they don't say jolly or happy go lucky. My perception of you is at odds with your perception of yourself. |

I don't know. When someone tells me how they see me, it tends to be a snapshot of how they perceive me in that particular moment of time - quite often coloured by what's going on with them, their mood etc. So it changes a fuckload.
Probably a bit of a twat. Bit competitive. |

I don't know. I'm fairly unusual I think in that I'm not too interested either. On the occasions when people have told me how they perceive me I'm sometimes surprised and sometimes not. So many of people's impressions are influenced by their own experiences, expectations and prejudices. |

I feel like a bit of a chameleon sometimes. I can slot into many different groups. I don't fit any of them well, but group A will tell me how much more A than B I am, and B will tell me the same about A. (most often on class lines. I can be perceived as both down to earth/ not a snob, and refined/ cultured. I usually prefer the former, but was raised as the latter, ha)
I feel my values always shine through, though. |
