Just watching the six nations tournament and was reminded of seeing a description on a few people's profiles stating they are of rubgy player build!..........when you look at those teams lining up before a game, they are ALL different shapes n sizes!! So what is rugby player build????? |

Any position these days it means broad shoulders strong arms and muscular thighs, whether your a prop or a scrum half or wirey winger |

when usually posted on here the person is probably saying 'i am more of a solid build than slim'..
rugby players have changed over the last few decades, front row used to be solid and lumber about the park..
nowadays they can move like centres lol.. |

my other half plays rugby, front row, he has rather large shoulders, arms and thighs, that to me is a rugby players build, I actually started a topic on this yesterday if you would like to have a look xx |

In the real world it could mean anyone from 5f2 to 6f6 or more and from skinny to padded but still agile.
On line its what men use to describe when their belly size is bigger than their chest. I think that portly plus would be more apt. |

I think on here to describe oneself as rugby player build means a well built man, a solid build someone said a few posts above, not fat but not of Mr Muscle stature either. I never assume that the man actually plays Rugby. Its just a very basic idea of body shape. |

It's very often a self descriptic claim of a fat bloke.
Most of the muscular guys on here will describe themselves as atheletic.
Thin women see themselves as fat, fat blokes see themselves as muscular, lol
