weird happenings with Alexa, echo

had a very freaky experience around a friends last night. downstairs watching the footy and Alexa turns on just playing white noise (static) anyway we go up turn it off. but then comes back on like 20 mins later playing a song from the 40's! followed by white noise. we ask alexa to play the last song but plays a completely different song!
30 mins later my friend grabs me, i say what its just an airplane flying over? she goes ok, but then straight after a world war siren comes on! so we realise the airplane noise was coming out of alexa to,then more white noise. we go up and unplug it this time( no idea if its got a battery) then 30 mins later it comes back on playing a song from the 40's again! this time i get out my phone and record it. i walk to the stairs then the white noise comes again. we both go up the stairs, i wanted to record it unplugged, just in case this thing doesnt have a battery source! but shes freaked out and just presses buttons and just as she does a voice comes on it, just as she disrupts it and it turns off again. in the footage you can hear the voice with her saying afterwards wtf was that! lol, the hairs were stood up all over me at this point! anyway we ring her son and he says plug it back in and reset it? so we plug it back in and as soon as we do its playing a radio broadcast from the war talking about Normandy then more white noise! we got some footage of that to, but she was so freaked out and it was so loud she just kept pressing buttons to turn it off. what do you all make to it? and have any of you had similar experiences? |

I do know certain government employees are not allowed such devices in case other factors use them to eavesdrop onto their conversations

I hate Alexa so does my family, its something about the Geordie accent it doesn't pick up on.
So glad I don't have one it would annoy me to heck plus it's just laziness I reckon. |

pretty dam sure, i dont really know much about these things though. but we rang her kid and he swore he had nothing to do with it. he was pretty freaked out to as its in his room! well it was until they threw it away today!  it was also unplugged. what ive read online it says it needs to be plugged in? it was bizarre i must admit. i wanna upload the footage on youtube but my friends ass is in the vid, as shes walking up the stairs while i was recording in leggings and she doesnt want her ass judged in the comments lol you women hey! |

You can use a number of apps that can cut and splice videos, simply cut out the part with your friends bum in it |
