Yep  . Irony and because lots of people who meet us in a swinging setting often say "but you look such a nice couple" as if they wouldn't expect us to participate.
Neither of us are nice in a sychphantic way or in order to gain popularity.  |

I have no idea how "nice" I am - it's not for me to judge - I treat others as I'd like to be treated, try to be considerate and respectful etc - anything beyond that is for others to decide |

I know someone who is always nice, to everyone. It's wearing and you don't know when they're being sincere.
By all means remain courteous and civil to people but don't say for instance that you love their new haircut when you clearly don't, it devalues both the compliment and the nice ness. |

I believe in giving people many chances no matter how many times you may treat me like shit, I'll bounce back and be there for when I'm needed! |

Isn't it funny how different people can be. I used to avoid conflict at all costs. I've learned using my anger appropriately, calling people out, etc, and saving my best self for people who deserve it... makes me a better person all around. |

Good answer. That's how I tend to look at things, hence my answer "Depends on whom I'm talking with".
I'd rather clash with Carter89, Gloswingers or Tame than have my arse licked, or false flattery. At least I know where I stand with the others. Give me honest over nice any day of the week.

My niceness is an illusion, it’s more a veneer of charm. I can appear nice and do nice things but I’m just as likely to appear horrible and do horrible things in different circumstances with different people. I endeavour to be less horrible as time goes by. |
