Copy and paste messages

Do you get these generic messages that are clearly copy and paste, clearly they havent looked at your profile and dont refer to you by name
Or if your a couple just refer to the lady ... seriously annoying! |

I've just had the same message for the 5th time, first time was Aug 17 the last was 2 weeks ago
I've advised he tries a new script as the old one obviously isn't working  |

It happens all the time. I don't bother calling people out as it's just a further waste of my time. I usually just delete them but if they are especially persistent I do block them. |

Yes. My memory is awesome so apart from remembering faces or usernames I also often remember if they sent me the same template message and let them know that.. some are quite surprised and apologise. I ask them to block me to prevent this otherwise I block them. |

ALL the time. A fair few off men starting with "Hey/Hello guys". And one guy who just copy and pastes the same essay every few weeks.
My personal fave is from a guy who keeps asking if I'd ever go for a poo in work

Despite my profile clearly states ‘ cut and paste or rinse and repeat ‘ will be deleted |

I normally don’t reply and there’s never a follow up message actually asking the ‘question’
Sometimes if I feel naughty, I reply ‘no’ ... |

I ignore because it's either banal (and they want a cookie for being "polite") or it's utterly vile. Rarely in between. |

I had one who was prolific at the copy and paste. One day i called him out on it. He emphatically denied it was a copy and paste and got very defensive. Because i have the grouped messages, i took a screenshot of 7 of the exact same message he had sent me, over the past few weeks amd sent it to him via direct PM, with laughing faces. He blocked me as soon as he read it  |
