Well actually I didn't.
I'm awful at reading the signs of interest in another person when they're directed at me, I'm great at reading the subtleties in others, but towards me? Not a clue.
So dear fabbers, how are you with this? Do you require a flashing neon sign, whilst simultaneously being beaten with a large placard with their intentions written on? Or are you adept at reading the subtle nuances of this human mating dance? |

I can see it when watching other people but haven't a scooby when it's directed at me. Unless someone says 'I really fancy you' I just don't pick up on it. Fab is so much more straight forward than RL. |

I was thinking in person, as opposed to fab based. I generally grasp things if they're written out for me. |

Usually here people just message me with want a fuck? .. that gives it away somewhat.
In real life i dont have a clue. Hasnt happened in like forever. Just goes to show how desperate guys are on here doesnt it. On here im drowning in requests. Off here not even a date since my ex husband took me out in 2002 |

I think that fab has broken my ability (what little I had) to flirt, so I just stopped trying, for fear of being arrested. |

I think that I struggle on here because I assume they're saying the same things to everyone. I find it hard to interpret messages sometimes because there's no tone or expression.
In person I'm quite bubbly and flirty so I assume they're just responding to that.
I have to say I do love that moment when it clicks into place and you realise they're interested too. |

I find it harder here. It's impersonal, whereas sitting at a coffee table or bar and they catch your eye it's much easier. IMO. |

I read the initial signs pretty well I think. I usually find there is something about me that will cause the attraction to me to diminish somewhere along the line. Knowing that I have a tendency to overdo things and cause it to self-destruct anyway.

Absolutely useless!
I don’t pick up on subtleties at all, someone literally has to spell it out.
Other times, I’ve thought people were interested but they were just being nice.
And I think on here, the amount of attention (although it has subsided a tad with age) is ridiculous, completely distorting what would happen in reality. |
