yes, perfectly capable of machining any attachments but asking what people think of them, is it worth investing in high quality?

Are you saying you can't manage quality?

I would expect that a manufactured attachment would be as simple and straight forward as one you would make yourself... although I can't imagine that a shop bought adapter would be expensive, so it depends how much you value your time?
