How many hours do you get?

Maggie Thatcer stated she managed on 6 hours. Hitler slept from the small hours until 11am.Do you wake with your 'natural' body alarm,or could you sleep through an Earthquake!

Me 7 hours. Body alarm 4am.

Weekdays I manage on between 5 and 6 hours ... weekends is a catch up slightly, but rarely manage much more than 8

I go to bed between 11pm & midnight

I get up at 7am even though I don't start work til 10am

I don't sleep at all well though and normally wake up after 2 hours or so of sleep

From then on in, I am in a semi-conscious state until I properly wake up at around 5 to 530am and fanny about on my phone before actually getting up at 7

I don't get nearly as much sleep as I think my body needs. That'll be the insomnia.

I’ve struggled with insomnia for a few years now, and it seems to be getting worse. I get 3-4 hours a night if I’m lucky. The doctor gave me sleeping pills for 2 weeks to see if they broke the cycle, but they’re not working for me. It’s nice to know I’m not alone, but I feel for all of you x

Under the Duvet

I'd love six hours uninterrupted sleep. Generally I get four, then I'm awake in the small hours, then I get maybe two shit hours then wake up feeling hag ridden.

Years of working stupid hours have fucked my body clock, I think.

My cat wakes me up at 6am every morning and it's rare I get to sleep before 10pm so I can pretty much say I never get enough.

Lack of sleep is linked to lots of different neurological and behaviour disorders and also some cancers. Also driving tired accounts for way more accidents on the roads than driving d*unk.

We really need to take sleep more seriously, it's something that constantly worries me.

6 hours usually, sometimes 5, sometimes 7.

I got 5 hours last night.

I think 7 hours is perfect for me, where I don’t tend to feel fatigued at dinner time.

I find if I sleep more than 7 hours I feel groggy & the opposite of refreshed!
