I know it's almost expected for a woman to be shaved down below, or at the least trimmed. What about men, I've just gone completely smooth. Opinions/preferences?

I'm smooth but in part due to wearing lycra for cycling

I've been shaving mine for about 4 years now.

Much prefer being completely smooth.

Expected? Men shall get what they are given!

No preference for me.

Variety is the spice of life, I really like the fact that people are different and they do different things.

Personally, I trim a bit... but we both have some pubes.

Who expects women to be shaved? How presumptuous.

I have zero interest in men's pubes, so long as I'm not choking on them.

My general rule is don't expect anyone to lick and/or suck genitals in a condition you wouldn't your self. As I love to receive oral I'm always shortly trimmed and totally smooth everywhere you'd want to lick. I think that's fair enough?

I prefer to be totally smooth but for quickness..and laziness...I usually trim as short as possible and shave my shaft n balls..

Sam used to shave but was sick of the in grown hairs making it look like he had warts, so now it's very neatly trimmed. I also prefer a little hair as a shaved willy doesn't look natural.

I keep my shaft and balls smooth, and neatly trim the rest.

Feels so nice when I have my nightly play!

I shave the shaft and balls and closely trim above. Looks tidier and practically for rugby, I play in the front row, there's nothing worse than a second row binding in the scrum and tries pulling a fist full of pubes if they are getting alittle long!!!

Here and There

I prefer a man to be hairy, so much prefer trimmed to shaved. If it’s all shaved it puts me off a bit.

I prefer trimmed at least... Not keen on long pubes haha.. I have been with guys that are shaved and enjoyed that just as much.

I think it makes licking so much more enjoyable

I like a hairy man but just a little trimmed down there. Ive no massive preference. Personally I will never be smooth. Just for the fact my hair grows at a rate.of.knots. so i keep it neat.

I waxed once....never again

Close trim for me, think I'd look a little odd being smooth there seen as though I'm quite furry in general

Not particularly bothered either way...though prefer neatly trimmed to a wild bush if not shaven.

If you want me trimmed, you need to get in there with a razor. What could possibly go wrong?

And I prefer the same on men personally!

Shave with the grain, use a super sharp razor and a decent oil afterwards...razor burn be gone

Tried all that Eileen. Still can’t get it right. Even conditioner plus every cream my wife and daughter own

I don’t mind it trimmed tho.

Interesting article.. if I read the article correctly it would appear that the main cause of irritation and or infection is due to the act of pude removal rather than being free of pubes..

Dick are no the prettiest thing in the world so every little helps a nice trimmed clean area to show it off at its best potential but always should have shaved armpits as well to go with it.

I'm trimmed and I like that on other people too. Smooth or bushy aren't deal beakers for me though.

I'm not too fussed as long as hair isn't too overgrown.

I tend to get waxed and used to be embarrassed about meeting anyone if my hair was growing out. As it happens, I've found a few guys really don't seem to mind all that much. One or two even like a little hair.

Someone's pubes (or lack of) wouldn't put me off a meet. As long as the guys I meet are freshly showered and clean, I'm happy x

I'm in 2 minds whether or not I should shave mine again .. it's just that I don't think anyone will be going down there for quite some time again so what's the point?

But I do enjoy the smoothness though

I don't like the look of totally bald on a man, but it isn't a big deal. The stubble, shaving spots and ingrown hairs aren't appealing though.
