Curious question for the football fans.

If you had to move to a new city/town/village, would you start supporting the local team or stick with your home team?

I've always supported Derby County, and even worked at The Baseball Ground, even if I moved to a hut on the top of the Himalayas, I would still be superramfan, which was my first username on here

Yes and no.

Forest fan, raised on Cloughies terraces.

I moved to Brighton 21yrs ago, and got dragged along to watch BHA.

I've followed them since, but my heart will always be Red.

I just don't get the chance to go to their games now

Villa fan all the way through, no matter where I would be.

Once read that a bloke is more likely to get divorced than change his team

We moved to Newport 5 years ago, I'll go and watch them about 5-6 times a season to get my football fix and to have a beer with my County supporting mates.

I like to see them do well but I definitely don't support them.

Stick with my team but maybe also take a side interest in the team belonging to the city/town I moved to. Unless they are in the same league lol

Bristol East

Took my fella for a treat to see his local team Bristol City play Wolverhampton back in February. That was nice. Not as nice though as the match we went to a few days later - Valencia versus Celtic. My fave team

There and to the left a bit

Have supported Spurs through thick and thin (even the Christian Gross season!!) so nothing will ever change that - if I moved area I may take an interest in a local team but as others have said only if it were lower league but Spurs always will be MY team

I'm a Leeds fan (yes, yes I know). But wherever I end up living I always try and follow the local team, as long as they're not in the same League that is.

We live in Durham, Mark follows Newcastle and goes to the odd game when it doesn't clash with Celtic. He has been a Celtic season ticket holder for the last 12 years, he travels up every home or away game

I grew up in Nottingham and have been a Notts County fan for as long as I can remember, if you cut me I’d bleed black and white stripes!

I now live less than 3 miles from Coventry city’s ground. I do like to see them do well (except for last season when they beat us in the league 2 play offs) and follow their results but I will always support my home team

Much as I want to say yes, I’m a realist and I don’t think it’s possible. We’re 2 points behind with one game to play. If we manage a win we still have to depend on other results going our way. If Macclesfield draw it goes down to goal difference and we would need to win 9-0. Our only real hope is for Macclesfield to lose

Would never change my team, Leicester born and bred, but if I did move, would probably take an interest in the local team. Unless I moved to Nottingham or Derby!

Well at least Yeovil have gone down even if they were 2-0 up at one point on Saturday
