Yeh, I think her mum became poorly, she had to leave and she did everything for him so it was a love for her, not sexual as the song may suggest, its just how he penned his work, I guess being a dirty fucker lols |

Yes. It's the way that they all look at him as if to say "What the hell?". Not many performers can improve on a Beatles song usually. Don't think there's much more of a higher accolade. |

There’s just too many... saw him live a few times, and very lucky to see one of the incredible Hit’n’Run shows last time he was in the U.K. Three hours queuing, £10 to get in, and a blistering 2 hour set to an audience of less than a thousand.
So anyway, some less obvious faves:

I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man
If I Was Your Girlfriend (for the genius lyrics)
And the entire Parade album, because it’s perfection from start to finish.

If I ever stick anything from Parade on I always have to listen to it all. It was so good Smash Hits gave it 11/10. 
Which tours did you see? I saw him first on the Lovesexy tour. Would have loved to have gone to a Sign O The Times show but couldn’t make it. Saw one of the aftershows when he did the 21 nights at the O2. Quite a short set compared with some of the others, but it was just Prince plus drums and bass and it was funky as all hell! |
