What pets do you have?

As the title suggests. And why? We have 6 cats. Intelligent, affectionate, independent and all individuals. What’s your best non human pal and what makes them so? |

A cat and a rat, both my beloved furry children. I wouldn't normally only have one rat, but his cage buddy sadly died a few weeks ago. They're so smart and affectionate, they're really just like tiny dogs. My cat is a sweetheart and purrs like a little engine. |

I think I need to get another rat x mine was really clever, as you say like a tiny dog x would love another dog but work too much x |

Yeah caged rodents are good pets if you have a busy life; since rats are so social, you're best getting a pair or group, which means they have each other while you're out. They won't get lonely for company the way a dog will. I've kept rats for years, they all have their own personalities, and they bond hard to their owners. Love them to pieces. |

Cat really shrewd little dude knows which cupboard the Dreamies are kept in sits near and anyone who goes near it gets a tap from his paw. Very affectionate but bastard temper if he’s upset |

I have a cat she's coming to the end of her time now. I rescued her when she was tiny and neglected. As I look down at her lying next to me I know her time is coming to and end. It's been weighing on my mind a bit. |
